LEAD Team: Team Strategist

Trang is a Psychology and Mathematics Double Majors. She believes that this combination will sharpen her problem solving skills as she learns how to think logically about problems and how to be compassionate about human behaviors. Trang is proud of being a part of the LEAD Program both as a participant and a member of the LEAD Team. Trang looks forward to developing the program and expanding it to W&L students. In her free time, Trang loves cooking, doing yoga and volunteering at pre-schools.

Management Team: Internal Communications Chair

Arriving to Washington and Lee University from rural West Virginia, Brittany cherishes LEAD’s devotion to both diversity and personal growth. She looks forward to connecting with and meeting the members of each tier to ensure that all participants reap visible benefits and leadership tools from the program. Currently double majoring in English and Philosophy, Brittany relishes effective communication, and she strives to utilize this relishing in serving as a liaison between members of the LEAD program and members of the Management Team. Outside of schoolwork and extra-curricular responsibilities, Brittany loves the occasional binge watching on Netflix and petting every puppy that she sees.

LEAD Team: External Communications Chair

One of the two Communications Chairs, Oakley is a junior from Richmond, Virginia majoring in Accounting. He hopes that the knowledge and skills he will learn pursuing this degree will propel him into a prosperous career in finance. Outside of class, Oakley is a member of the varsity football team, the Williams Investment Society, and the Kappa Alpha fraternity. Through each of these experiences, Oakley has learned to deeply value the importance of leadership and effective communication within a team’s confines.

LEAD Team: Education Liaison

From Princeton, West Virginia, Austin is a rising senior. He is a Biochemistry major, who is pursuing his dream of being a physician. Austin joined the LEAD program searching for personal growth and development of interpersonal skills. Because of LEAD, he gained the confidence to involve himself in other clubs on campus. In addition to being a part of LEAD, Austin is also involved in research and the Concert Guild. Furthermore, he also holds a position at the help desk in Leyburn library.

LEAD Team: Education Liaison

Originally from Salt Lake City, Utah, Rohan understands the enormous value of leadership education. He is excited to work on the logistics of LEAD. Currently pursuing a double major in Accounting and Computer Science, Rohan looks forward to exploring both business and technology while at W&L and beyond. Outside of being a part of LEAD and the Williams Investment Society, he enjoys playing the piano and traveling around the world.

LEAD Team: Integration Chair

The Integration Chair for the LEAD team, Amanda Dorsey, is a sophomore from Abingdon, Maryland. She is majoring in Neuroscience and minoring in Poverty Studies. Outside of class, she interns at the Autism Center, is an officer for the Pre-Health Club, and will be working as a Career Services Fellow this school year. She is excited to improve her leadership alongside the diverse network of students in LEAD years.
