Design Team: Team Manager

Harry joined the LEAD Team in the winter of 2014 and now serves as the program’s Executive Chair. A Senior from Virginia Beach, Harry is pursuing majors in Business Administration and Geology with a minor in Environmental Studies. On campus, Harry is a Peer Counselor and a member of the Outing Club and Soccer Club. In his free time, he works as an Emergency Medical Technician at his local rescue station and enjoys spending time outdoors while hiking, fishing, surfing, and snowboarding.

Design Team: Workshops Chair

Diana, a senior from Glenwood Springs, Colorado, has been with the LEAD Team since the winter of 2014 as a member of the Design Team. She is currently pursuing a Business Administration degree. Beyond the LEAD Program, Diana is a captain and participant of the W&L CRUX Climbing Team, and the founder of Washington and Lee’s Slow Food chapter. She loves leading outdoor trips as Key Staff for the Outing Club, and is spending her senior year as Head Resident Advisor to the 3rd Year Village. Outside of school, Diana loves to climb, run, and cook. 

Design Team: Integration Chair

Spencer Payne is from Davenport, Iowa, and has been involved with the LEAD Program since the winter of 2014. He is a Senior, pursuing a major in Economics and a minor in Mass Communications. In addition to his involvement with the LEAD Program, Spencer is a member of the W&L golf team, serves on the Faculty Executive Committee, and is an editor for The Mudd Journal of Ethics. He was drawn to the LEAD Program because it afforded him the opportunity to make a difference on campus and in the Washington and Lee community. And now, almost three years later, it is his sincere hope the LEAD Program proves to be a valuable asset to the community and that it has a positive impact on current and future W&L students. Outside of school, Spencer plays pool, ping pong, and badminton.

Design Team: Service Chair

Edward is a Senior from Shreveport, LA. He joined the team in the winter of 2014, with a brief reprieve while he studied abroad the fall of 2015. Edward is majoring in Business Administration and Global Politics with a Poverty and Human Capabilities minor. He worked at the Center for Economic Progress last summer in Chicago and will be returning to  Chicago again this coming summer to work for Lincoln International. He is a Bonner Scholar, Kemper Scholar, and also member of the Political Review, Nabors Service League, the Outing Club, and Student Consulting. Outside of class he divides his time between community service, running, and being outside.

Design Team: Marketing Chair

George Park is a Senior from Fairfax Station, Virginia, pursuing a double major in Economics and Business and a minor in Poverty and Human Capabilities Studies. Though he currently serves as the program’s Marketing Chair, he has been involved in the process of designing the program since joining the team in the winter of 2014. Outside of the LEAD Team, George serves as the philanthropy chair for his fraternity and contributes to the planning of the LEAD Banquet. He is an avid soccer fan and plays for W&L’s Club Soccer team. He also plays the clarinet for the University Wind Ensemble and occassionally DJs for WLUR 91.5FM.
